CHRISTOPHER JAMES ALEXANDER CREATES ONE-OF-A-KIND, WHEEL-THROWN VASES, BOWLS, and CUPS IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.
His ceramics adventure began in middle school when his parents signed him up for his first class at the Pot Shop in Evanston, Illinois. Over the next several years, the studio’s patient and wise owner, Dominic Mosca, taught him all about the wonders of creating with clay.
He continued learning how to work on the wheel in high school and at George Washington University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts and Art History.
In 2021, Christopher rediscovered his passion for pottery at Good Dirt L.A. Collaborating with the studio’s talented owner, Lina Alvarez, and her excellent team, has allowed him to explore new forms and distinctive glazes inspired by his Mediterranean roots and love of architecture.
